Buildsubmarines.com

The U.S. shipbuilding industry is scaling submarine production for the first time in decades — requiring over 100,000 new workers across trades, engineering, and advanced manufacturing. The challenge was twofold: drive awareness at scale while reshaping perception. For younger audiences, experienced workers, and veterans, these roles needed to feel not just accessible — but meaningful, stable, and worth choosing. At the same time, we had to reframe manufacturing itself: from outdated assumptions to a modern, technology-driven career path.

As a senior designer and lead motion designer on the account, I helped build and scale a flexible brand system and campaign ecosystem across every touchpoint—organic social, paid media, large-scale environments, video, and experiential moments like NASCAR and stadium activations. My role spanned concepting through execution, ensuring consistency, speed, and quality across a high-volume, multi-channel rollout. The result is a cohesive national campaign that positions shipbuilding as a critical, modern workforce—and a career path people actively want to be part of.
